Hope Girlz Mother/Daughter Bible Study!

Last night was our first Mother/Daughter Bible Study for Hope Girlz! We launched a four-week study focusing on bringing moms and daughters not only closer to each other, but also closer to Jesus Christ. Last night's focus was "Me and God." While my Mom talked with the others Moms, us girls had a great discussion on what a real, vibrant relationship with Jesus looks like. We are learning that a relationship with Christ isn't about everything that we can do for God, but it is all about how we love Jesus with everything in us. We asked ourselves if we loved Jesus for what He does for us or if we loved Him simply for who He is. That's a tough question to wrestle with, but every day is a new day to walk with Him and fall crazy in love with Jesus. His Princess Update

Several readers have emailed me regarding His Princess, the small group curriculum that I have written. I wanted to give you a little update so that you can know how to pray for me in the days ahead.



Looking over my original His Princess rough draft, I have found some areas that I would like to edit. I finished writing this 52-lesson curriculum last year and have been trying to get it published. Over the past few months God has given me a fresh view of what His Princess should look like. Instead of it being a 52-week study (which is hard to commit to and plan for with odd weeks such as holidays) I am going to make His Princess a series of studies. There will be a number of studies that churches may choose from that will last on average 9-12 lessons each. The studies will be theme based as well. Please keep me in your prayers as I begin the editing and revising process. I am excited about where God is taking His Princess and know that these changes will make it even more influential in the lives of pre-teen girls.



I am planning on starting a small group in Ocala soon! His Princess will be a part of Hope Kidz at Church of Hope in Ocala. I will update you when the time gets closer for when this group will begin. I am excited about what God is doing in the lives of His princesses!

His Princess

Today was my last morning to teach the His Princess small group at the CenterPointe. What began as a tiny dream with four girls has become a growing ministry. God is using the simple idea of being "His princess" and changing so many girl's lives. Even though I will not be in South Florida to teach the class anymore, a couple new teachers have stepped up to carry on the flame. The His Princess curriculum was birthed at the CenterPointe and is now being used by a cheer leading squad in Ocala and by missionaries in Papua New Guinea. I will also begin a small group at my new church in Ocala. I am just so excited about what God is doing. He is simply amazing! Here are some highlights from His princesses today:

His Princess Kick-Off

His Princess was launched this morning at the CenterPointe. His Princess is an interactive small group for 5th and 6th grade girls. The purpose of the small group is to teach pre-teen girls that they ARE true princesses of Jesus Christ. This morning my sister Katie and I began the
52-week journey with seven girls. I am so excited to see what God has in store for their lives!
