Day 6~God's Work

Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.
-Philippians 2:12-13

It is so easy to get caught up in "rules to live by". WE can set ourselves a set of rules and then live by them so rigidly that we become prideful and lose sight of Jesus. Now, rules can be a good thing because they can prevent us from doing harm, but when we place our "rules" above our Creator, that is when we are in deep weeds!

The Holy Spirit wants to invade your life. David Nasser says, "The Spirit's work is a mystery, our walk then becomes an adventure, and seeing him at work deepens our passion for Jesus." He also describes the MAP that can guide as we are invaded:

Mystery: we have the responsibility to prepare ourselves and the Holy Spirit does the rest.

Adventure: Our lives in Christ become an awesome adventure, we need to be ready to get on board!

Passion: "Passion takes root in gratitude." We should be so thankful for what Jesus is doing in our lives that passion pours out of our beings.

God is at work in our lives. Be ready to say yes to an incredible adventure with Jesus today!
