SADD Prepares for Spring Break
Today at school, all of the juniors and seniors gathered in the auditorium for a program sponsored by SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) and MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) hosted by Mrs. Calloway. In 1999, Mrs. Calloway's 18-year-old daughter was in an accident as a result of a drunk driver who was drag-racing another car. The car that her daughter was in crashed into a car leaving her recently high school graduated daughter in a coma and nearly every bone in her body broken. Now, eight years later, Mrs. Calloway's daughter did survive that crash, but with many trials and recovery processes. Now this mother/daughter team travels and tries to steer teens away from making a one-second decision that can ruin your life for forever. With Spring Break right around the corner, Forest High School wanted to inform its students that they truly do care about each and every one of their students and that they want us all to come back to school alive after the break. Thanks Forest High School for showing that you care about us.
