This past week life has been filled with a Sunday nigh pool party, a road trip to middle school camp, traveling the back roads of Alabama, and eating at lots of yummy "mom and pop" restaurants!!

Wow those photos are making me so jealous! I wish it was summer here! I have to ask though, what is a 'Mom and Pop" restaurant? I'm guessing it's an American term I've never come across before. :P
A "mom and pop" restaurant is kind of like a hometown restaurant that is unique to that specific area. It is not a restaurant chain like McDonalds. They are amazing!!!
